Chloe Spiteri

FEATURE: Chloe Spiteri started Olympic wrestling training at Lewisham wrestling club in south east London and She was Coaches by Level 2 Olympic wrestling coach Mr Muladi badibengi from Lewisham and Makasi Tshikeva before joining GB Team, the Coach has found that Chloe spiteri was talented and decided to train hard and get to 2012 and win gold medal. What Chloe most loves about her sport is winning! She loves to see hard work and training pay off and likes to meet lots of people! “Her recent rankings and titles are details below: • British Senior Champion (February 2011) • Aspull International Club Competition 1st place (November 2010) • Southern Region Tournament 1st place (February 2010) Rustinton Southern Tournament 1st place (September 2010) • Aspull International Club Competition 1st place (November 2009) • English Senior Champion (May 2009) • English Junior Champion (March 2008) • 2nd ranking in Britain seniors (November 2008) • 2nd ranking in Britain juniors (June 2008) • Aspull international club competition 1st place (November 2007 and November 2008) • Senior British Championships (31 October 2009 - new ranking) Chloe currently trains 2 times a day, in the mornings she does 1 hour of training mainly cardio exercises and then in the evening she mainly does intense cardio and technique exercises. Spiteri was part of the British team at the wrestling test event, part of the London Prepares Series, at the Excel Centre this weekend but her hopes of a return visit next summer look increasingly slim. Six years ago British Wrestling, determined to exploit the opportunities of a home Games, recruited foreign athletes to move to the UK to act as sparring partners for their developing talent. .
